Story:
Good day, (Your Class). Have you had the chance to speak to the townspeople? If you have, I'm sure they told you of their troubles with the bandits. It wasn't so bad back when they were just isolated bands of small-time cutpurses and poachers. We managed to keep them away from the town limits and the main roads.

Times have changed, though. The Crown has pulled soldiers from our garrison and sent them to the frontlines of the war and when we get reinforcements, they're green young recruits.

The increased bandit activity has taken a toll on Ludlow and we've gone through three garrison commanders in as many months. The bandits seem to be working in concert, and they're openly using the name Black Mountain Blades. We feel they may be working with the Red Dwarves but no one is certain.

This organization didn't appear overnight, and I'm certain there's a driving force behind it. I can't spare the men to scout the bandit camps, but perhaps you'd be willing to do a little investigation.

Summary:
Find bandits affiliated with the Black Mountain Blades and slay them until you obtain information about their organization. Return to Guard Algor when you obtain the intelligence.
